Follow Friday Memes

TGIF is hosted by Ginger at GReads!
This week's question:
First & Last: What was the first book you read in 2011 and the last you finished in 2011? How do you feel about these books? Would you recommend them to other readers?

The last book I plan on finishing this year is: Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan.

At this point, I'm kind of just skimming through it since I'm more than half way finished with it. I'm not as into it as I thought I'd be because I don't like Norah's character that much. I know, I know, you all liked it and now you're offended but what can I say?! Every book isn't for everyone!!

First book I finished this year was Here Lies Bridget by Paige Harbison
I unfortunately thought it was barftastic. I don't have anything nice to say about so I will just point you to my short review of it. Check it out here.

Question of the Week: The New Year is here -- and everyone wants to know your New Years Blogging Resolution! What are you going to try to revise, revamp and redo for 2012 on your blog?

Well, as you can see, I went public with my name and everything. Generally, I plan to become more visible and infuse a lot more of my personality (opinionated Brooklyn girl who happens to be a classical musician) into my posts. But here's a short list for those of you skimming hehe!

1. Definitely going to BEA: I was so sad that I had to miss it this year. I'm right freaking here in NYC!!

2. Post more often and have a clear schedule: I'm hoping that I get organized enough to have a set schedule this year. And if I don't, I won't beat myself up about it!

3. Read outside of my comfort zone: If you guys catch me reading more than like 5 James Patterson books in a row, just call me on it.

Thanks for stopping by! Drop me a comment so I will know you were here and i will do the same!

  1. I so need to read outside of my comfort zone. I stick to YA a lot, but I have been taking baby steps towards paranormal. I also want to go to BEA too. It sounds awesome and fun! New follower btw! :) I love your blog! It's really cute!
