Follow Friday time!

Book Blogger Hop
The Book Blogger Hop is a weekly event hosted by the lovely Jennifer at Crazy for Books and runs from Friday to Sunday.

This week's question: What is your favorite Halloween costume? Even if you don’t celebrate, what kinds of costumes do you like?

Oh I definitely celebrate! I love all costumes. I am between being Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz or Little Red Riding Hood this year! My favorite that I ever did was when I was Marilyn Monroe with a little ridiculous curly wig! Me as a blonde doesn't work btw.

TGIF is a weekly event hosted by Ginger at GReads!

This week's question: Which books do you consider festive Halloween reads? Which stories have chilled you to the bone?

Earlier this year, I read Leo Rising based on the Charmed series. It took place during Halloween and got me supremely in the spirit for the season right now. It can be a children's story as long as it takes place during Halloween time!

I love any story that isn't too spooky because I am a scaredy cat - definition!! That being said, I haven't read any stories that are too scary!!

  1. ooo, Dorthy! I've always imagined myself eventually taking up the costume and spending weeks in various shoe stores looking for the PERFECT red glittery shoes. Good one. :)

  2. Dorothy would be a great choice! =D And Little Red Riding Hood! Red cape!

I love Charmed! I need to go back and read the series. Now I want to have a Charmed marathon tomorrow with my box sets. *le sigh*

    Great choices!

  9. Same here--I can handle suspense, action, and tension, but I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to the truly spooky stuff. :-)

  14. So I just watched Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfriend and I'm still thinking about it, so I like the Red Riding Hood idea.
