Follow Friday Time!

BookBloggerHop is hosted by Jennifer at Crazy for Books!

How many books are currently in your To-Be-Read (TBR) Pile?

I have at least 10 or so book lying around that I either won or took out from the library. But I keep taking things out and buying new books before I even get to those!

Follow my Book Blog Friday is hosted by Parajunkee.

Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?

Hmm. I love Suspense Thrillers. And an Iris Johansen book made that so years and years ago. I can't remember which exactly but I know it was part of the Eve Duncan Series.

Thanks for stopping by! Click around, you might find something you like. Drop me a comment to let me know you came by and I will stop by your blog soon :)

  1. I'm glad you have a favorite, because I don't!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    The Musings of ALMYBNENR

  2. Hi, Lah! Thanks for stopping by. That happens to me from time to time. Gotta love that crazy GFC. I have the same problem with buying new books while I have a stack of library books. I just can't seem to get enough of books! Have a great weekend.

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog! Suspense thrillers are awesome. I tend to go in streaks. Haven't seeked those out in a while though. I like Dirk Pitt novels by Clive Cussler and true crime (which I stopped reading because they freak me out now!). Here’s my Hop and Follow post! ~ Jen @ A Book and a Latte

  4. New follower! Happy reading, friend!

  5. Hey thanks for stopping by, I'm following you now! I do like suspense thrillers as well. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for something like that.

  6. Nikki And I'm following you right back :)

Jen Yeah, the more I started reading them, I was like okay I'm freaked out, time for a MG novel

Marla Haha you have a great weekend too :)

    Amber You rock my socks.

  7. I have about 20 books at my house that I need to read soon, but my goodreads TBR list is well over 300! I have a few years of reading ahead of me!

I don't read much suspense, since having kids I have become a major thriller sissy - I just can't handle it anymore!

  8. 10 is a good number! I like having a smaller amount of books on hand. That way I don't feel overwhelmed.

    My Hop is here:

  9. Only 10. I don't know if it's ever been 10, even when I was a kid.

  10. Yay for us!

    Thanks for visiting my blog!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  11. I don't even want to think about how many book in my TBR pile, but suspense is my fave too!

I have an award for you if you'd like it! You can read more about it here:

  12. When your profile said you were addicted to chocolate chip cookies, I KNEW I had to follow your blog! I can have choc chip cookies for DINNER and be happy! ;D

Anyway, enjoy your TBR pile! Here is what I had to say. ;)

  13. I purposely buy more books before going to my TBR pile. I think I have this insane fear of running out of books. If I read a book in my TBR pile I have to replace it with a newly bought book.

  14. HI
Just hopping by! My TBR list is in the thousands - and that is just ones I own!

  15. Hey Lah! Have a great weekend! Thanks for dropping by my blog, I think Your Heart Belongs To Me by Dean Koontz is a bit different from his other works, from what I've read of it so far.

  16. I've read The Killing Game many years ago. I can't exactly remember the story but Iris is a good writer...

    Bookable Reads ☺
The Die Is Cast #3: Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

  17. Wow guys, that's some TBR piles you got there. I'm feeling a little inadequate now haha.

Alexis I think I feel that way too!!! I have to stop though, because I'll never get to the books if I keep getting more from the library or bargin bin!

Kari Thank you! I'm going to make a post soon

  18. It depends on which pile of books I call my TBR stack; my nightstand has three; the pile on my computer desk is around 50 or 60!

I appreciate your comments!
