Book Blogger Hop & Follow Friday

Book Blogger HopBook Blogger Hop is a super awesome hop hosted by Jen @ Crazy-For-Books!

"If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?"

So easy...NARNIA!!!! I'd prefer to be in Narnia during Caspian's reign.

Follow my Book Blog Friday is a super awesome hop by Parajunkee at Parajunkee's View.

It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...
1. I bite the inside of my cheek when I'm hungry. I guess that's actually kinda gross.

2. My favorite thing to eat are apples. It's abnormal how much I like them.

3. I'm an opera singer.

4. I absolutely love libraries. I mean, I'm sure we all do because we blog about books...but it doesn't matter how big or small the place is...if there are books there I love it!

5. I'm a super duper nerd, but I'm the coolest nerd you'll ever meet!

  2. I’ve seen a lot of great picks and gathered some fresh titles to add to my ever-growing TBR list. My answer will probably stun most people because the world I picked is a place most people would be scared to death of and try to escape from. Me? I want in.

  3. What?!! You are an opera singer. Wow. How random.

  4. I sing opera, too! Not professionally, though I do sing soprano in a German choir, but I love singing songs like The Flower Duet from Lakme or Habanera from Carmen. :)

I love my library, no matter how much I complain about them sometimes, and I would gladly live there if it weren't for the fact that it would freak people out if I moved in.

Here are a few, a very few, of my quirky habits. :)

  8. You are the awesomest nerd and blogger I've ever met! You're so awesome you can even comment on my blog while you're at work. Don't ever question that power, it comes with the awesomeness :D

Actually, that book cover of Tell-All by Palahniuk is one of my favorites, but it does look strange - which is exactly why I like it!

You know what? ARGH is getting quite the journalist now, he is going to interview Lord Arkus from that book you're curious about, My Sparkling Misfortune by Laura Lond soon on the blog - don't tell anyone okay? :D

Thanks for stopping by the blog, ARGH and I missed you! Have a great weekend!

  11. Just hopping on through your site. Great stuff. Narnia is a solid choice. If I had to pick an animal inhabited world, I would probably choose the Redwall series, but Narnia would be a close second. I'll make sure to keep up with your site.

  12. I also LOVE libraries- or even a large room with books in it. I get positively giddy around them. My girls are also developing a love of the library (even though they can't read) and I just love to see how excited them get when we go.

  13. Oh yes, I'd definitely go to Narnia when Caspian is around *wink, wink* :D
