Seven Facts Award for ME!!!!

I like awards, what can I say?! I don't get them often enough to be overwhelmed by them so please keep 'em comin'! Now, Nadea from Candy Chapstick (isn't that an awesome, delicious, lip balmy name for a blog??) gave me this award a week or so ago, but I've been so busy that I am JUST getting around to posting it! So oops my bad, Nadea, and thank you for being awesome!!

Things to do to accept this award:

1. Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog.
2. Post seven random facts about yourself.
3. Pass on the award along to 15 other worthy bloggers.

I love to talk about myself. Which is why I have a few blogs. So here are Seven Facts that I hopefully haven't listed before:

1. I've told you all that I'm currently an opera singer pursuing a career in opera on a professional level. But I didn't tell you guys that I started out singing R&B and musical theater!

2. Despite my musical background, I went to a Math & Science High School which explains the geek you know and love today!

3. One of my few hobbies is video game playing, which I mentioned before, but I didn't say that I am ADDICTED to The Sims. Addicted. I make them read books and write novels, and I always make one of their rooms an elaborate library. I also love anything Mario Bros. related.

4. I am from (and currently live in) Brooklyn NY and am a pizza and bagel SNOB. So don't be offended if I refuse to eat pizza if we're hanging out in your hometown!

5. I am afraid of all animals (yes, even bunnies & wild turkeys) except cats.

6. I've been on TV a fair bit in my life and always forget to tell people. So I'll tell you now (some of these I've said in previous awards): Audience memeber: TRL, Maury Povich, Ricki Lake, Wendy Williams, The Daily Show, others that I forgot. Contestant: Wheel of Fortune on Best Friends week back in like 2003 or something. VJ: Some show no one watches called Tastemakers, about music wayyy back in 2001.

7. I am a champion procrastinator.

I didn't give the award to 15 people because I don't know 15 off the top of my head that even accept awards! So the award goes to...

  1. Congratulations on the award! This is one of the cooler ones I've seen floating around cyberspace.

That is so cool that you have been on television and going for opera. I'm sure you will go far in your career!

  3. I love awards like this where we get to know you more :)

I'm a complete pizza and bagel snob myself. No one does pizza and bagels like lower NY. It's practically an insult to consider our pizza and bagels the same food as pizza and bagels from other areas. They don't compare. (*puts soap box away*) :P

Congrats and thank you :) I will accept absolutely. I love the concept of these blogging awards.

I will have to come back with my actual post and I'm not real sure that I can find 15 people, but I will give it a go :)

Have a wonderful day and thanks again.

  9. Yay!

I started with musical theatre too and it will always be my first love, though now I'm in an a capella group.

I hear you on the pizza snobbery, though if you come visit me in L.A. I'll take you to where they've done it alright (and I'm a NYer too)

Grrrrrl - did you go to Bronx Sci? (you can privately msg me on Goodreads if you don't want to answer publicly)

And hey I don't have enough awards so anytime you wanna hand one out...;)
