Library Thursday Blog Hop (7)

Library Thursday is a weekly blog hop that I've started to:

1. Encourage people to support their libraries when they can

2. Meet new bloggy friends and grow your following

How to participate (UPDATED):
  • Create a Library Thursday post with a list, pictures or a vlog of your books. Or feature a cool picture of a library, or spotlight one of your favorite libraries.
  • Grab my button if you like it and include it in your post! Make sure to shout the library out that you went to!
  • Once you've created your post, link it to the linky at the bottom of my weekly post
  • Hop around to the other blogs participating and check out what other people are reading. Be sure to leave them a comment to let them know you were there, this is about making friends as well!
My Book this Week:

Deeply, Desperately by Heather Webber

So excited for this one! I had it for a Waiting on Wednesday last month and according to GoodReads, I put it on my TBR list all the way back in November! I forgot that I could get it from my not so local library (about 15 minutes away in a car, with traffic and all that) in Brooklyn Heights! I also got two more Princess Diaries books but feel like I want to take them right back as I am a little bored with the series!!

What did you get from the library in the past week??

  1. Deeply Desperate looks good! I loved the Princess Diaries series....loved it! I did listen to most of them on audio though and it brought the whole series to life. You have to be willing to deal with a teen mind though. I definitely got frustrated sometimes with Mia but it completely reminded me of myself at that age so I think Meg Cabot did a great job of writing the series!

  2. What a great cover! I wish I had access to a library with interesting books. Our central library was decent but it burned down! Most of the books were elsewhere for renovations but the new temporary library is rather lacking in anything that would remotely interest me lol.

Have you tried any of Meg Cabot's other books? I have Boy Meets Girl on my shelf and the first few pages were pretty good. :)

  3. That series looks good! I think I have the first book on my TBR. If you like that series and Meg Cabot, have you tried Cabot's Mediator series? I LOVE that series. Unlike Princess Diaries, it doesn't get annoying after a few books.

Plus, Jesse (the hot ghost that haunts the main character's room and protects her) is the hottest ghost around!

  4. Another cool looking library. This is one of my most exciting posts of the week checking out all your neat libraries. I just love how a lot of them are older looking buildings. This one looks pretty cool too.

    Love this HOP!

I appreciate your comments!
