Library Thursday Blog Hop (4) UPDATED!**

Library Thursday is a weekly blog hop that I've started to:

1. Encourage people to support their libraries when they can

2. Meet new bloggy friends and grow your following

How to participate (UPDATED):
  • Create a Library Thursday post with a list, pictures or a vlog of your books. Or feature a cool picture of a library, or spotlight one of your favorite libraries.
  • Grab my button if you like it and include it in your post! Make sure to shout the library out that you went to!
  • Once you've created your post, link it to the linky at the bottom of my weekly post
  • Hop around to the other blogs participating and check out what other people are reading. Be sure to leave them a comment to let them know you were there, this is about making friends as well!

My Books this week:

First of all, I updated this hop so more of my friends can participate! Even a crazy library addict like me can't make it to the library EVERY week in time for this post, so hopefully my new additions can get more people in on this :)

And speaking of shouting out your library, I stayed EXTRA local today and got every single one of the books from the closest Brooklyn Public Library to my house:

Bedford Branch of BPL

Anyway, I took out a lot of books this week, on top of the 4 or 5 other books I have piled up TBR in here!

Dead is the New Black by Marlene Perez
(this book is so friggin cute, I want to eat it alive)
Charmed: Trickery Treat by Diana G. Gallagher
(and yes, it's based on the tv show)
The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
(another case of judging a book by its cover!)
Perfect Mistake by Kate Brian
(solely for my HP Challenge)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
(picked this up randomly, excited to read it eventually!!)

  1. I love that Diva thingie on the picture!

About my book review, yeah it's a really great spiritual guide, it's even great to read just for its story. And the book cover is way better when you see it up close!

  2. HAHA! Thanks for liking the Diva thing. It was originally a Christmas Tree ornament haha! Can you believe that?!

Still can't believe you got that cool book from Book Sneeze! They never had cool things when I used to look...although that was like 5 months ago haha. I better check back!

  3. You will love The Hunger Games! I know I did. I like the whole shout out to the library, I will have to add that to my post. I love the library! They keep my reading, when my pockets can not.

  4. Thanks Yvonne!!

@AwesomeSauce That's what I'm sayin!! Most of my reading will be via library books this year I already know! :)

  5. You library is pretty. I love old brick buildings!

  6. Thanks Amber!!! It's a really nice picture of it, it's actually one of the smaller ones! :)

  7. I'm a Hunger Games fan, too! I liked the whole series! Thanks for hosting!

  8. Ooh! I loved The Hunger Games! It was amazing!! I also want to read Dead is the New Black and I had no idea that there were books based on the Charmed show so I will be checking that out!! I loved that show :)

Loving this meme! It's such a great idea!

  9. Love this meme! I get most of my books from the library, my budget could never support my reading habit!

  10. This is a really cool thing to do on Thursdays. I just got the audiobook version of Hunger Games from the library today. I can't wait to see your review. Thanks for following me! I am now your newest follower.

  11. Dead is the New Black looks really cute and fun, so I just added it to my TBR!

  12. I love this!

When I'm back home in NYC, my local library is the Forest Hills one in Queens. Out here in L.A. it's a small local one in my Mexi-Asian neighborhood. Maybe I'll try to get a photo of it to participate one of these days!

    and yay for singers!!

I appreciate your comments!
