Dystopia Challenge 2011

Dystopia Challenge

Here's another challenge I've decided to sign up for hosted by Bookish Ardour.

After watching one of my favorite Twilight Zone episode "The Obsolete Man" I'm reminded that books of the Dystopian genre are my absolute fav! I've read some of the books in The "Uglies" series and others that have made me want to only read these types of books! So in an act of insanity, I'm going to sign up for this challenge at the 30 book level! AAAH!

  1. Hey even i wanted to participate after i saw this but i realized something..this challenge is over..! It was a 2010 Challenge! The last date was Aug 24 2010..

  2. HAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!!! Thanks for pointing this out Kiwi. You'd think I would've noticed that after making a whole post about it. I think I saw this other one at Bookish Ardour & somehow without paying attention made an entire post on Parajunkee's old one. I even signed up on her linky list! I think I was hypnotized by that awesome button she has! hehe!

If you didn't point this out, I seriously would've been doing this 2010 challenge like a crazy person.

  3. Can I just sneak in here to say how awesome your book blog is?? I'm so excited about it!!! It is seriously evolving. You are totally going to be a famous book reviewer some day and I'm going to be like "I was the first person to follow her book blog back in the day" and everyone is going to be super impressed with my foresight and the fact that I have a famous friend.

  4. Good luck! Thanks for joining in with the challenge, I really hope you enjoy it and I look forward to seeing what you end up reading. You've got some pretty good books listed so far.

Good luck with all your other challenges too!

  5. Might I suggest an excellent novel by Margaret Atwood. The book is called "Oryx and Crake" and it certainly can be categorized under the contagion bracket.

  6. Ooh thank Skyknight! I will take a look at that one :)

I appreciate your comments!
