I love reading The Worst Witch series. In this book, Mildred Hubble back and getting into all sorts of trouble as usual. It's her third year in Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches and she hopes to stay on the straight and narrow but, she's not called The Worst Witch for nothing!

It's a very quick and light read. The most enjoyable part of the book is how you sympathize with Mildred even if all her mistakes are cringe worthy. Her nemesis, Ethel, is about as ruthless as any Mean Girl in a YA Fiction novel! I also enjoy comparing her to Draco Malfoy in my mind ha!

The plot, while simplistic, is engaging and has a familiar twist toward the end if you've read this series previously. I highly recommend this book for independent readers or readers of any age who enjoy stories with magic, fantasy and loveable characters!

And yeah it's super cute...totally start from the beginning, not that it makes that much of a difference.
