Challenge: Hogwarts Reading Challenge

It's Halloween, and Piper is busy decorating the Manor, which has become the neighborhood hot spot on the most bewitching night of the year. Meanwhile, Paige decides to use the party as a chance to honor the dead. She casts a spell that creates a portal for a clan of leprechauns...and other wandering spirits.
The guests are thrilled and impressed with the realistic effects, but Phoebe, Piper, and Paige soon realize that they have a big trick to deal with: one not-so-friendly ghost going out of his way to turn the Manor into a haunted house.

This should've been my "Just for Fun" book. I love the series and am so dedicated to the characters. It's another typical day in the Halliwell Sisters' home. It takes place 5 months after the final episode, Forever Charmed. Piper is taking advantage of their newly normal life and is throwing a Halloween party. What could possibly go wrong?

You're immediately transported back into their world with Paige getting into trouble, Wyatt advancing his magical powers, Leo being the voice of reason and Phoebe head over heels in love with someone (this time it's Coop the Cupid). The book is what it is, a fast paced story based on a tv show. I loved it because I love the show. Sure there were slow moving moments and a few errors here and there, but I'm not holding it against the author. I'm just glad it was written. And there are 40 others that I can read in addition to this one!

I suggest this book to uber fans of the TV show Charmed. Otherwise, I recommend this book to those who like supernatural fantasies, witchcraft and magic with underlying love stories.
